Huay Tong Tao

about 15 km northwest of chiang mai we visit this scenic little lake.
along the shore sits a smattering of bamboo-huts, where you can eat, drink or just relax...

to the east of the lake we were initially planning a hike through the jungle, but apparently that's only allowed with a trekking-guide... who we didn't have...
