up the mountain before sunrise

off the mountainbikes and on our motorscooters we set out to see the sun rising over chiang mai.
so we got up at 5 in the morning and drove up the doi suthep.

in hindsight, the first viewpoint we stopped would probably have offered the best city-panorama - but since we kept on driving up the mountain we experienced the dawn in the jungle - still pretty impressive, and giving us another wonderfull oportunity (next post)Read more
