• Lower and midway geyser basin

    The lower geyser basin is where the fountain paint pots are located. These are some of the neatest formations here in Yellowstone. They remind me of boiling water, just bubbling like a big giant cauldron. You have to watch the videos in this post. We also got to watch jelly geyser, which had little mini eruptions similar to old faithful, but on a much smaller scale, it was pretty cool.

    Next, we went to Midway geyser basin. This is where Excelsior pool is and where the grand prismatic pool is. Again, you have to watch the videos to really see how it is the pictures don’t do it justice.
