Upper geyser basin and Westham geyser basin

Our last stops of the day were at upper geyser basin and West Thumb geyser basin.

At upper geyser basin this is the area where the old faithful inn is and old faithful and the whole upper geyser basin. We popped into the Inn first. This is such a beautiful hotel and someday I would love to stay here. It’s like six stories high and just feels all warm and cozy inside. We didn’t walk around the upper geyser basin because we wanted to spend some more time doing that and not feel rushed and it was getting late in the day. But we did get to see old faithful go off.

We stopped and saw another waterfall Kepler Cascades, and we also saw a lot of snow on the side of the road

At West thumb the best geyser was the Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em geyser. Legend has it that the fisherman would catch the fish out on Yellowstone Lake and then put them directly into the geyser while they were still on the hook to cook them. I thought that was really funny. The last video is Yellowstone Lake. It’s pretty expensive and is the largest high elevation lake according to the billboard I read.Read more
