Exploring a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Since the weather is supposed to get worse tomorrow, I decided to do the trip to La Laguna today and check out the old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. To be honest, I expected a bit more. It was nice walking around the streets, having a look into some courtyards and checking out the churches, but somehow I was hoping for more of an old-town feel. I actually liked La Orotava a lot more when I was there a few days ago.
After that, I decided to check out the botanical garden in Puerto de la Cruz, took another walk along the promenade, and then just went back to the hotel. And tonight it’s New Year’s Eve — we’ll see what I end up doing.Læs mere
