Paradise, Nevada.

Sin City, City of Lights, Las Vegas, call it what you want: The place where everything goes (out of your pocket) and everything stays (in the casinos' pocket) is actually Paradise. (It really is. Look it up!) Despite understanding the principles of this spectacular machinery, I had to come back after briefly visiting in the summer of 2018 with the Geography excursion. (Yes, I tried my luck on the tables. And no, I did not win anything...) As it turned out, this year's excursion ended in Las Vegas at the same time I was there. Thankfully I could join them on their trip to the Valley of Fire State Park. The pictures can barely grasp the fantastic landscapes and the excitement I felt to be a part of this. After some hiking, the students went back to Vegas for their final day of the excursion while I joined my professor on a special mission for two more hours.
