Day 1 of self isolation

First day New Zealand is on lockdown for 4 weeks. I started the day with a workout in the garden. We then stripped some of the beds and had lots of laundry to do! We had lunch and then went for a walk down to the lake. Not many people about. Just a few out for a walk but hardly any cars. The police were stopping campervans probably to ask where they have travelled from. You have to stay in the same town during the lockdown. We met an old couple from england who were also stuck here in Taupo. They are staying in a hotel only the two of them. In the afternoon I baked a banana loaf. We enjoyed it with a coffee. I read my kindle for a bit. Ashleigh cooked steak for tea and we enjoyed it with a beer.Leggi altro
