Goodbye Taupo! Back on the road again :D

This morning we picked up some pies from our favourite bakery in Taupo (Paetiki bakery) to take with us for the road trip. We got on the intercity bus at 2pm. It was strange leaving Taupo after living here for 4 months. (2 months working and 2 months in lockdown) we arrived at Porirua bus stop to meet Chris and John's friends Deb and Russ, who kindly picked us up. We arrived at their beautiful home in Titahi Bay by the sea in the evening. We couldn't see the views because it was dark, but we were looking forward to waking up and seeing the view in the morning. We sat in the lounge in the evening and had cheese and biscuits. Deb and Russ were very welcoming.Read more
