Ferry over to Half Moon Bay

Today we took a Ferry over to Half Moon Bay from Auckland ferry terminal. It took about 40 minutes to get there. It was raining when we got on the ferry but the sun did come out a bit when we arrived. Half moon bay had a lovely harbour there. We wanted to get fish and chips but unfortunately there wasn't anywhere to get some there. We enjoyed a steak pie and chips instead in a cafe.

We then walked to Half moon bay beach. We walked along the Broadwalk by the harbour and sea and then we walked by the beach. The sun was beginning to set so we had a beautiful view at the beach and when we got on the ferry. It was nice to see Auckland at night coming in to the viaduct in the evening.Read more
