We arrived in Bayeux early afternoon after a shopping trip to Decathlon. We are staying at the musical site on the NE of town which is compact but clean. The walk along the river and a easy into the town and the first stop was the tapestry. I was very impressed with it and the commentary.
Next the cathedral which is magnificent again! A wander around the town and a stop at a pastry shop before back to the van for tea.Read more
