Wednesday Palazzo Abadessa

Our hotel provided a free water taxi to Murano and tour of a glass factory. Such gorgeous works of art! From Murano we took the vaparetto to Burano for lunch. This island is known for the lace. A long vaparetto ride back to the mainland to sip prosecco in the garden. Have been blessed with gorgeous weather. Paul, denis, Phyllis, Agnes and I went to a concert. Vivaldi music including Pachabel. Wonderful! And a pleasant stroll back even though we got lost (a bit).Read more
