Monday was Kotor Montenegro

Kotor is at the end of a long fjord and we were tendered to shore. Lee, Paul, Den and myself did a tour of boat kayak and bike. This made for an interesting day. It started out sunny but most of the day was cloudy and we finished with rain

We had a small boat take 6 of us to st mary on the rock. A small island down the fjord with a little 1000 year old church and museum. Our boat had had a few issues on the way out. When we went back to the boat it was gone! Another fellow with a slightly better bowas there to take us partway back to a spot where we got the kayaks. I guess we paddled along shore for about an hour with a light rain on and off. Back at the sbop we got our stuff and picked up bikes. They were in pretty bad shape and the road was narrow. A pretty leisurely ride along the coast showed some beautiful old ruins.
On arrival back at Kotor we enjoyed a beer in the Old Town. Then the rain came down and we had a long tender ride back to the ship, which had moved down the fjord while we were gone. Still time for a martini before dinner though! Czytaj więcej
