Day 2/3 first full day in Reykjavik

Claire and I figured we would try to stay up as long as possible in order to get ourselves oriented to this time.. needless to say, at 5:00 pm we were both asleep, only to wake up at 10;30pm and again at
4 am. Got up and headed to the kitchen to make coffee and read. Claire ran, I went for a walk. Cool, breezy day but nice. Ate breakfast and napped ( there's a theme here) got up and explored. Went to the phallus museum, yep, that's right. Ate and then went back to our room to nap. We had a walking food tour at 4;30 with guide "Dave" had lamb ribeye, Icelandic char (alot like salmon) a fish and potato dish, hot dog and then dessert. Oh, and we both tried the disgusting fermented shark. Met a great couple from Colorado, Katie and Casey so we went for drinks after. Went to the Labowsky bar, the drunk rabbit and the garden. Came back to our room to hit the hay. It 10:30 and still pretty light out now, but time to sleep. Tomorrow, we snorkle between the continents!Weiterlesen
