The Walls of Old Dubrovnik

We arrived back in Dubrovnik late afternoon. Russell and I decided to return to the old town and walk around the top of the walls. It's a 2km walk with 1080 steps. We didn't consider the distance to be a problem but that's a lot of steps. What's more there is a charge for the pleasure of going up and down all those stairs! (35 euros pp, approx. $57 AUD) Seriously though it was worth all the effort, the walled city of Dubrovnik is incredible. Here's a selection of photos plus a short video taken from one section of the wall. I'm so glad we decided to give it a go and even happier we did the whole walk.
