Aït Benhaddou

Stopped here opposite the old city of Aït Benhaddou after stocking up on supplies from the Carrefour at Ouarzazate. 😁🍷🍷. It was quite windy when we arrived but that died down in the evening (hence the hazy photos!). We did have a visit from the Police and were happy at just looking at our passports 😊

Ksar of Ait-Benhaddou has been fortified since the 11th century and was part of the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakesh.
