Follow the pink road

On our first day in Cape Town, we've stumbled a few times on a line of pink paint on the sidewalk, and we wondered what it was about. Some touristy route, maybe? So we followed it, because we're curious, and find out that it ended in front of the only gay club in the city, somewhat out of the way. Perplexed, we followed it back to its other end, only to realise that it weaves through a few blocks, connecting several queer establishments, crossing a rainbow walk path, and ending up on the waterfront at a "hens night" kind of go go bar....
Still no idea who painted it and how legal it is, but I'm loving this pink line to stumble from one bar to the next 😅Read more
