A boys dream

Landed late last night in Cairo for an extended work n leisure weekend. First time in Egypt n the first time to see the gigantic pyramids n the mighty Nile river. Places I have dreamt of visiting since I was a boy. The pyramids of Giza literally touch the city but on the western side they merge with the dessert. Once i left the cheops pyramid behind I was almost by myself. Called family to share this experience. After a short rest I ventured to the Nile for dinner - another majestic place.
