Didn't take any pictures. Stayed in Magdalena preparing to go to Durango, Colorado to plan on finding the head waters of the Rio Grande River. I didn't think I could get too close with my rental car.Lue lisää
My rental car got stuck in the mud while traveling from Magdalena on NM 169 state highway to I-40. It was 32 miles north of Alamo Navaho Reservation. The previous 2 days of rain caused the roadway toLue lisää

Stayed at the Steam Train Hotel in Antonito, kind of a kitschy, bohemian hotel built in 1911. "Refurbished" to mostly modern Gen Z accommodations, I had to crank the heat up to compensate the draftyLue lisää
