Rather cold and breezy day - Gerald and Sue braved the walking up the lighthouse - Pauline checked out the gardens
ReisendeThere was an intrepid WW2 kayaking venture initiated via submarine around there. The idea was to canoe up the Charente to the port at Bordeaux and blow up a few German ships. It worked but most of the chaps died.
