    Royan

    May 17, 2024 in France ⋅ ☁️ 13 °C

Explored a few of the nearby villages going on small “D” roads and then drove to Royan.

Their Cathedral was built after the 2nd world war as the original one had been bombed.
    Consecrated on 9 July 1978
Maybe I need to send these photos to Bishop Michael as to what can be done - even has an organ.

Afterwards got back to La Chard and contemplated whether to have a swim in the saltwater pool.
Last photo is of the mess that moles make to the lawn. Our host said they may move to their neighbours soon.

TravelerYou’re near the Medoc wine region. They have complexity, elegance, and are often oaky. Maybe like some people you’ve come across.
