    Off to the Highland Games

    Sep 6–8 in Scotland

    Leaving Edinburgh behind with a quick visit to the Livingston stone circle we progressed to Sterling Castle where Anne Queen of Scott’s lived. It was amazing with character actors, stunning tapestries and gardens. We ended the evening enjoying an Indian take away with the Kelpies. Next day off to the Braemar Highland Games. What an experience! Bagpipers on mass, highland dancing, tug of war, hammer throwing, and Caber tossing just a few of the competitions of the games.
