    Picked up our car from Fort William destine for the Isle of Skye stopping at Elaine Doon Castle on the way. The Isle of Skye, located off the west coast of Scotland, offers breathtaking natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. The weather remained semi kind, as it wouldn’t be a holiday in Scotland unless you got drenched at least once. Basecamp was in Portree a quant fishing village. Over the next few days we climbed the Old Man of Storr ( Aliens fans may recognise the landscape from the film Prometheus ), Mark snd Jenny indulged in fresh oysters and whiskey tasting . We visited the historical farmers Croft homes and went to the Mac Donald Caln castle Dunvegan, owned by the 30th Chief, whom we were told likes to mingle incognito with the tourists After a morning of searching, giving way to the charity tractor rally and locating a good cup of coffee; we found the Kilmuir Minature standing stones in a locals front yard.
