Venice for an afternoon

Arrived at 11:15am. Short intro talk on how to catch the bus downtown. Janet and I had checked out a Viator walking tour with gondola ride and decided to book it last moment. Told our friends Ted and Shirley about it (they’re from Queens) and they booked it with us. Had a grand time for the next 8 hrs! Took the water taxi to San Marcos Square and then hoofed it to the meeting point for our walking tour. Great walking tour- funny guide. Marvelous gondola ride. Wild and crazy walk to a neat little restaurant (I bow to you Google Maps!! You are my hero!).Leer más
