BACK IN THE USA

Very smooth return flight. Comfortable seats as it was on the flight going. Slept very little though. Did watch about 3 movies though - Vice, Juanita, and something with Julia Roberts. Did move around a lot trying to avoid those DVT’s. I was a bit surprised how few people did. Once at LAX , managed to quickly scan our passports and have the machine take our fingerprints and then sat for about 10 minutes waiting for our Global Entry interview. That was insane - about 3 questions and we’re done. Can’t believe you normally have to drive to the Charlotte airport to get that done. Don’t think I’d be happy if I had done that! Shuttle driver to our Wingate hotel was super friendly Guatemalan guy. Decided to spend the night with a 10:22 flight out in the morning albeit a 4 hr layover in IAH (Houston).Read more
