Day 2 - Afternoon food tour!

Great food tour with outstanding guide Emberly (from New Zealand, who married a Dutch guy ). Bitterballen (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitterballen?wpro…) pickled Herring with onions and a pickle) , fried cod, Frite ( delicious French fries). , Poffertjes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poffertjes?wprov=…) aged Gouda cheese and wine, beer.

Afterwards explored The massive Central train station and then wandered through the red light District (sort of a bust). Massive crowds out on this Saturday enjoying the sunshine. Lots of "pleasure boaters" out on the canals. ( no license required - think bumper cars :)Weiterlesen
