Day 2 - After the food Tour - wandering

After the food tour, we embarked on a walking tour using Rick Steves audio walking tours of the Red Light District. Saw a few windows where the bawdy ladies were supposed to be sitting - but no ladies - bummer. Lot of “coffee shops” in the area (meaning dope). You could get stoned just walking around. Walked down and alley and saw some guy chase some other guy and bash him up against a wall and start pounding him. Uh, no we ain’t going down that alley! Impressive huge church sits right in the middle of it all. You can’t take tours of the Red Light area any more, but you can go visit the Prostitute Information Center. However, they were closed, so so much for sharpening our knowledge of that topic! Did get to view the rather not so charming window display of a condom shop. Then we headed over to the massive central Train station for a walk through and finally headed back to the hotel wandering new streets. By the time we got back, we said to heck with dinner and crashed. I, in particular, was totally wasted. Czytaj więcej
