Day 8: Road to Carlsbad

Today was a very low key day. We slept in this morning. Enjoyed our last few hours in our presidential suite and lake view. Then we headed to the Village Buttery for an amazing early lunch before hitting the road. They were famous for their buttermilk pie. It did not disappoint! Then we hit the road to Carlsbad, stopping halfway in Roswell. Roswell is famous for it’s alien folklore but doesn’t have a lot going on but was a fun pit stop. When we arrived in Carlsbad we walked around the Living Desert Zoo before turning in early. It’s 90 degrees here!Lue lisää
