Dambulla to Kandy

Another full day today starting with a visit to the produce market. Next stop included another climb up quite a few steps to the Cave Temple, a complex of 5 man-made caves and statues carved into a huge rock. From there we stopped at a spice garden before heading for Kandy and what we thought was going to be some free time. Instead we were rushed through a gem factory then a cultural show then another temple with lots of steps and stairs and finally got to our hotel about 7.15pm.
