Angola 2017

Left our Red cliff beach at Bentaba to Dombe Grande beautiful oasis in the desert. Drove through farming fields and stopped at s well to fill up with clean water from an irrigation hose. Continued on to a tarcroad and sadly we landed up with a warning that we had a puncture. We had to change the tyre as we had re plugged it last bight at the the red cliffs. Was 35 degrees heat. Had an interesting drive through little fishing villages. Quite smelly with all the fish racks. Made camp in the desert. Some wanted to do washing so we all did and as it was boiling and very windy it dried quickly. We had bought charcoal today off the Diderot of the road and shared it out. We also all filled up with petrol and Garth and Jeremy and George did a us dollar exchange with the guy at the garage as we need some more kwanza. Had a braai for sooner. Lukes Usa Chicago and some Melkterr to drink. Washed hair and left conditioner in overnight. We will have to use most of our water and cooked meals to dump weight.Les mer
