Upper Carawine Gorge

Did a hole 32ks today. Beautiful scenery on the way in. A bit rough in some parts & a bit sandy in others. No-one else camped up here.
Lovely little crossing just up to running boards.
Huge paper barks on the bank.
Found some incredible rocks here. Some looked like they had been painted with a really shiny paint in some parts. Some where a dark grey, others a few shades of brown.
Stayed two nights here. We had a campfire both nights and Mal cooked a savory damper for lunch!Læs mere
