Mt Augustus

We had one night here, were going to have three.... Neil & Michelle were helping out here.
Anyway things went pear shaped so they resigned and headed off. Unfortunately they had trouble with the caravan wheel and had to come back. Luckily we caught up with them and helped fix the problem. We ended up spending the night in a road side stop near Cobra Station with them.
Mal went up the mountain this morning with Anna & Georgie. I went to Cattle Pool looking for birds & found some Redthroats. Then went round the other side and met Mal.
We came back and spent another night at the camp ground so we could wash & check out Cattle Pool again. Got a Brown Goshawk this morning & a family of Redthroats!!
Also saw 4 shooting stars & one had a really long red tail!!Read more
