🐾 2e journée à Arequipa

Aujourd’hui, expédition à la Route du Sillar ! Des canyons, des carrières et des blocs de pierre blanche partout… On aurait dit un décor de film, mais sans les effets spéciaux. J’ai failli me faire tailler en statue… mais j’ai esquivé à temps.

Après tant d’efforts, pause bien méritée dans une picantería traditionnelle. Au menu : rocoto relleno, queso frito, chicha morada, ...

Pour finir la journée en douceur : Mundo Alpaca. Des peluches vivantes, poilues et ultra photogéniques.

Today, off to explore the Ruta del Sillar! Canyons, quarries, and giant blocks of white volcanic stone everywhere… It felt like walking through a movie set—just without the special effects. I almost got sculpted into a statue… but dodged just in time!

After all that “hard work,” it was time for a well-deserved break at a traditional picantería. On the menu: rocoto relleno, queso frito, chicha morada...
