Another beach and brunch in merida

A couple days back we went to check out another small beach community close to Merida. Beautiful beach. Water a gorgeous turquoise. The whole beach however is covered in places to sit for a fee and menus of food and drinks that take forever to be served. We figured out the issue as we were leaving. Servers having to walk 4 or 5 blocks to collect orders and then walk back with them.

Today we ventured out for a good Friday brunch and found a place just about 10 blocks from our house. A comfortable open air patio with good service and food at La 70 on Calle 70. Next we traveled to Gato Gordo Cafe (translates to Fat Cat) - also on Calle 70 - for good fair trade Americanos.Leer más
