    After a relaxing morning at my accommodation I took a taxi to see the Unesco Hukka falls
    At the site where the boat was moored is a dam .The dam is opened three times a day and the water gushes impressively out and down over the rocks
    The boat then took us along the river and to the Hukka falls
    En route I saw so many black swans . I feel we rarely see them now .I think they're all in Nz !🤣
    As the trip was some 15mins out of Taupo i was concerned about getting back ,but the lovely taxi driver who was Ukrainian, gave me his mobile number and did come back for me.
    Returning to my accommodation I had a short walk along the lakeside before going to the pub in front of my accommodation for a meal. The staff had begun to recognise me as id been in each day ...so I had a chat with them.    Read more
