Here I go again....

After 3weeks at home, catching up with friends and life in general its time to get going again.
This trip starts in Iceland..
Mags kindly gave me a lift to the airport and I finally caught up with Ian in Chaplaincy..shattering his peace of 4months ...lovely to see him as well as George David and Phil ....Ian and I had a coffee and catch up in Hanger ...the staff canteen ,before I went through security. He and Phil then bumped into me and helped with identifying the right Gate for Icelandair.
A good flight though bumpy at times. Initially I managed to sit in the wrong seat on the wrong row and so had the person in my intended seat

person in my intended seat (33F) should have been in 31F ..was funny 😂
I've paid little attention to the details of this trip and id no idea how id get to my accommodation. However there's a super efficient bus service taking 50mins that connects with another bus service that drops at your hotel .
The hostel was bright and cheerful..
I was starving by now and although no sign of any shops, I was told there's a fish and chip wagon at the back .
Going outside i realised people were camping at the hostel as well
The food was excellent and best mushy peas ever !.
Realised I needed to pay some attention to the details of my trip seeing as im now on it 😅 ...in doing so found an accommodation deficit of 2nights ....oops..but wasn't worried as thought id easily get something....
However, the hostel were full and all the hotels were extortionate!....2nights £ 700 wasn't uncommon ....
I ditched trying to find somewhere and booked a few day trips instead 😅 .
