Ein Gedi - When David fled from Saul, he hid in En Gedi among the rocks there (1 Samuel 23:29). The specific location where Saul searched for David was called “The Crags of the Wild Goats,” because of the rocky terrain of En Gedi (1 Samuel 24:2). Even tree names in the Bible are accurate for the region they came from (Olive, Sycamore, Fig, etc.). Not true of the Koran - grossly inconsistent

David was anointed to be king by Samuel.  Saul got mad and hunted for David.  David gathered some people and hid here in EnGedi. Read more
