Rückreise nach Bangkok

🇩🇪 Das frühe Aufstehen fiel mir heute besonders schwer. Schon um 8:45 Uhr mussten wir an der Rezeption sein, um unser Taxi zum Hafen zu erreichen. Ein Pickup holte uns ab und verstaute uns und unser Gepäck auf der Ladefläche, bevor er losfuhr. Am Hafen angekommen, mussten wir etwa 30 Minuten warten, bevor wir auf das Katamaran steigen konnten. Zuletzt waren wir auf dem Deck gereist, entschieden uns dieses Mal jedoch dafür, im Innenraum zu sitzen. Die Sitze waren ziemlich bequem und die Überfahrt verlief unspektakulär. Nach der Ankunft am Festland warteten wir erneut kurz auf unseren Bus. Glücklicherweise ergatterten wir zwei Plätze in der ersten Reihe des Oberdecks, was uns eine großartige Aussicht bot. Da meine Firma an diesem Tag eine Veröffentlichung für das Produkt am Samstag plante, nutzte ich die Gelegenheit, im Bus noch etwa zwei Stunden zu arbeiten. Das mobile Internet in Thailand ist ausgezeichnet, sodass ich keinerlei Probleme hatte, meine Aufgaben zu erledigen. Die Busfahrt war recht lang; es dauerte ungefähr sieben Stunden, bis wir schließlich wieder in Bangkok ankamen.

🇺🇸 Waking up early was particularly tough today. We had to be at the reception by 8:45 AM to catch our taxi to the harbor. A pickup truck arrived to collect us and our luggage, placing us and our bags on the flatbed before heading off. Upon arriving at the harbor, we had to wait about 30 minutes before we could board the catamaran. Last time we traveled on deck, but this time we chose to sit inside. The seats were quite comfortable and the journey was uneventful. After arriving on the mainland, we had to wait a bit for our bus. Fortunately, we managed to get two seats in the front row of the upper deck, which offered us a great view. Since my company was planning a product release for Saturday, I took the opportunity to work for about two hours on the bus. The mobile internet in Thailand is excellent, so I had no trouble completing my tasks. The bus journey was quite long; it took about seven hours until we finally arrived back in Bangkok.Read more
