Shibuya Crossing

🇩🇪 Die bekannte Ruhe vor dem Sturm erlebten wir hautnah, als wir uns erneut direkt ins Zentrum des Chaos, die Shibuya-Kreuzung, begaben. Tagsüber war das Treiben noch intensiver als nachts, und die Kreuzung bot ein völlig anderes Bild. Zuerst überquerten wir selbst die Kreuzung in beide Richtungen, bevor wir uns in den Starbucks direkt am Platz begaben. Dieser Ort ist besonders beliebt, da man von oben einen perfekten Blick auf das beeindruckende Schauspiel hat.

P.S.: Für Starbucks-Liebhaber ist Tokio ein echtes Paradies, denn die Kaffeepreise sind hier deutlich günstiger als in Deutschland.

🇺🇸 We experienced the proverbial calm before the storm up close as we ventured directly into the center of chaos at the Shibuya Crossing. During the day, the hustle and bustle was even more intense than at night, offering a completely different scene. First, we crossed the intersection ourselves in both directions, then headed to the Starbucks right on the square. This spot is particularly popular because it offers a perfect view of the spectacle from above.
