Perito Moreno Glacier

I arrived in El Calafate and ended up going on a trip to Perito Moreno an hour after checking in to a hostel.

I took a bus to the glacier, and then had 3 hours to spend there. I went on a boat trip for one hour, which was amazing. You get really close to this mighty glacier! There was a lot of blocks falling down to the lake, the sound was bouldering and loud.

After the boattrip I only had one hour to do the walking trail, that was a bit too little and I had to rush a bit. But I am happy I did them both! It is necassary to go on the trails to get a view from above and see how big the glaciar actually is. The sight is magnificent!Læs mere
