Caernarfon to Holyhead

Fot here safely. Caernarfon marina (Doc Fictoria) was lovely and Ffion, who runs the dock, was very helpful.

Tidal constraints exiting to cross Caernarfon Bar meant only an hour or so favourable tidal stream, so last 4 hours motor sailing, last 2 hours in fog, round South Stack and North Stack. Now on Holyhead SC visitor mooring, still foggy. Aiming to depart for Dublin on Wednesday (wx dependent.)Read more
