Grand Canyon IMAX

Headed south this morning to watch the IMAX movie depicting the 4,000 year history of the canyon in 35 minutes. We all LOVED it! Thanks for the suggestion, Grampy Carpenter!

Maddie loved everything except the spider. Patrick was a great sport only wanting a hand over his ear during the white water rafting scene (so loud!). He yelled out "cat!" when the mountain lion went by and couldn't get enough of the animal scenes. Gordie's favorite parts were the close-ups of the bugs. Sarah's favorite parts were the white water rafting scenes with John Wesley Powell.

A worthwhile stop!

Put in a few pictures from the visitor center where the IMAX was and had to show the Bright Angel Trail info since that's what they hiked yesterday. Also included a picture of Patrick "helping" put away the laundry this morning at the campground before we left.Read more
