Palenque

Palenque, or Bàak in the indigian lenguage (means "big water) was a Maya city funded around 200bc and was habited for about 1000 years. The ruins are in the middle of the jungle and most part of it is still covered and unvisible. Already the small uncovered part was very impressiv and beautiful. Palenque is much less visited and a lot cheaper than the famous "Chichen Itza". Less touristy means also less restrictions.
