Day 35 - mile 518. Hikertown

Another 20 mile day today that was mostly downhill heading into the Mojave desert. We passed the 500 mile and had a short celebration since that seems like a good accomplishment. The Proclaimers song about walking 500 miles seemed appropriate.

Our stopping point for today is a place called Hikertown. It is an interesting place that is owned by an even more interesting person. It has a Western theme and provides a welcome place to rest before crossing the Mojave desert.En savoir plus
