Day 43 - mile 698

Today, I am wrapping up the 700-mile hike through the desert section. Hiking through the desert has been amazing with much more beauty and variety than I expected. It had highs and lows (with elevation) and extremes with hot and cold. This is the section where I enjoyed the initial excitement of starting out on this big adventure and working out a good hiking routine. Now, I find myself looking forward to the next phase of this big adventure as I prepare to enter the Sierra Mountains.Leggi altro
