Day 45 - mile 714

We are on our way to the Sierras. There is a ways to go before we are in the high mountains. In the meantime, the terrain is changing with huge boulders and plenty of trees to provide some shade. Slider is excited to be away from Kennedy Meadows and to start building back his hiking legs. That may take some time as he is recovering from a bug and has been off the trail for five days.

This is a popular trail. We passed quite a few day hikers and some out for a few days of backpacking. Several were interested in hearing how we are doing with the thru hike.Leggi altro
