Costa Maya

Short stop in Costa Maya. We had previously been to the Mayan ruins located near here so this time we just did a quick trip to the port area. It has been built up quite a bit since the last time we were here. Apparently Royal Caribbean has big plans for this area to make it similar to Coco Cay. The port area was pretty crowded but worth the visit. The highlight was an enactment of a Mayan ruitual where 'flyers' climbed a pole, tied themselves to ropes then made 52 rotations where the rope unwound and slowly brought them down to the ground.
