Blue Mountains

We were up early as we were heading to the Blue Mountains. Had breakfast and were on the train at Circular Quay by 8am. Had asked for directions and were told which train we needed. They forgot to mention that we needed to change trains at Blacktown. Ended up a Redfern! Had to backtrack to Blacktown station and then discovered next trail to Katoomba was 45 mins away! In the end it took us 5 hours to get to the Blue Mountains where we caught the Hop on Hop off bus to see the views. It was 40+’c today. Very hot looking at the views. Thank goodness the bus had air cond. Our trip back was far less eventful. Made it to Central
Station then changed trains to Circular Quay. Stopped for dinner on our way back to the hotel at the Orient Hotel. Early night tonight!Read more
