Newport and Benjamins

Newport is beautiful, very touristy with lots of cute shops and harbour. I would have booked a fishing trip if we had had time.
Benjamins Raw Bar was recommended to me last night and so we went for lunch. It was amazing food. Tuesdays were $1 oysters, topnecks (raw clams) and shrimp. Oysters Rock A Fella and Clams Casino were baked in the oven. Rock A Fella was garlic, spinach and cheese and Casino was herby breadcrumbs. I had mussles and garlic bread and Cade had the hot lobster roll. Amazing food and $65 for the whole meal for 2 of us.. a it pricy for lunch but was a real treat.Read more
