And finally.. The Statue of Liberty

We made it! Took the LIRR from Long Beach to Penn Station and then a bus. Cade finally tried a Wendy's for breakfast. Circle Line Landmark Cruise from Pier 83.. Next to the Intrepid museum.
Dave, our tour guide was good fun and certainly knowledgeable from 29 years in the role.
9 million people in New York and over 200 languages spoken.. wow.
We went from Pier 83 around the tip of Manhatten and up the East Side passing the Statue of Liberty. Underneath the Brooklyn and Manhatten Bridges.
The cruise was 90 minutes long and well worth doing. It was attraction no. 5 on our Go City Explorer pass. Highly recommend these if you visit the City to save money on doing a bunch of attractions.
And with day 14 under our belts we have certainly crammed in as much as we possibly could. 😀
A quiet night tonight and a day of travelling tomorrow. We have to drop Clarence back in Manhatten, drop the Car back in Jersey and get ourselves and luggage to JFK by 3pm. Flight is at 6pm.
