We wound our way Northwards through Machynlleth and Dolgellau taking in the glorious scenery of mountains lakes and streams, all looking their fresh and beautiful best in the Spring sunshine.
We even found a Gin Distillery which specialises in using local Cambrian ingredients in the craft centre at Corris where we stopped for breakfast.Read more
We are staying in the comfortable and modern Seascape Cottage perched on the hillside above Cliff Terrace and its funicular lift.
From the front patio we have sweeping views Southwards down the coast and over the town of Aberystwyth itself.
Access is up a twisty, narrow private road with us praying no cars are coming the other way!Read more

Obviously we had to create an ornament with the different colours of sand in layers too !Read more
